We offer diversified long term investment strategies that maximize opportunities for growth while accounting for your personal risk tolerance.
A Value Discipline
In the value category Bache Capital looks for companies’ stocks that are selling for less than the value of their business franchise. We search for value companies with novel products or services that enjoy barriers to competition. And we seek out companies that benefit from changes in the political or economic environment that point to a significant improvement in these companies’ long-term earnings.
A Growth-at-a-Reasonable Price Strategy
The growth-at-a-reasonable price strategy focuses on companies whose stock prices do not fully reflect the sustainable earnings growth that we think is possible for the company. In all cases, we conduct rigorous fundamental analysis of our selected companies, studying profit margins, returns on equity and assets, and tangible asset protection.
In establishing new equity positions, Bache Capital sets a target price both for the top as well as the bottom. When the stock price reaches either level, we conduct an extensive reevaluation. If we have lost confidence in the management or the company to sustain growth or value, the stock is sold. On the other hand, if the stock has moved downward and still holds promise, we will often add to the position and consider the lower price an opportunity for further investment.
